Q&A
Q1 Would it be possible to try using the actual machine?
Currently, we offer demonstrations during visits and at designated locations only in Japan.
Please experience the operation of the actual machine; we offer the Manipulator System and the Axis Pro.
Q2 Do you accept sampling requests free of charge?
Yes, as long as the stand (KBr, etc) to release the sampling piece and the pick up sampling piece is paid for.
Upon completion of the sampling, we will offer a written report with pictures and videos created during the operation.
This service is free of charge, so please feel free to request
Q3 How do you remove the adhesive stuck on the tip of tungsten probes?
Cleaning the tip with an ultrasonic cleaner for about 3~5 minutes should remove most of the adhesive.
Water will work fine. If it still does not come off, adding a little bit of detergent to a warm water mixture will increase the results.
If any detergent was used, please rinse and dry well after washing. It is extremely useful to have an ultrasonic cleaner with a heater.
Q4 I am unsure if I will be able to fully use the manipulator system after purchase.
Please do not worry.
Axis-Pro operates on the screen of a Windows XP computer, so anyone can easily use it, regardless of personal skill level.
On top of that, it is designed so that you can use it just as if you were operating it with your own hand. Usually, one will be able to operate it after only 1~2 hours of training. It is also great for lectures to large numbers of people.
Q5 Is it possible to use your micro tools on a manipulator from a different company?
There is absolutely no problem with doing so.
Though different companies offer tool holders of different sized pivot diameters, as long as you use a holder to fit that size, it should be perfectly fine.
Generally, holders come in sizes of 3, 4 or 5mm, so please let us know which size you will need. We also offer the lending of sample holders, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
